Trenchless Sewer Repair in Seattle. No Digging. No Disruption.
Fix your sewer line without tearing up your yard, driveway, or landscaping. Fast, clean, and built to last.
Your Sewer Line Fixed Without Destroying Your Property
Traditional sewer repair meant heavy equipment, torn-up yards, and weeks of disruption. Trenchless technology changed all of that. We can repair or replace your sewer line from the inside out, with minimal excavation and minimal impact on your property. At Seattle Select Sewers, we've been performing trenchless sewer repairs across the Seattle metro area since 2000. Whether you're dealing with a cracked pipe, a collapsed section, or severe root intrusion, we'll give you a clear diagnosis and a solution that lasts for decades.
What We Do
Trenchless Repair Methods We Use
We offer two proven trenchless techniques. After a camera inspection, we'll recommend the right approach for your specific situation.
Pipe Lining (CIPP)
Cured-in-place pipe lining creates a new pipe inside your existing one. We insert a resin-coated liner, inflate it against the pipe walls, and cure it in place. The result is a seamless, joint-free pipe that restores full flow and seals cracks, leaks, and root entry points.
Pipe Bursting
For pipes that are too damaged to line, pipe bursting is the answer. We pull a new pipe through the old one, simultaneously fracturing the original outward. You get a brand-new pipe with no trench required.
Camera Inspection and Diagnosis
Every trenchless repair starts with a full camera inspection so we know exactly what we're working with before recommending any method.
Post-Repair Inspection
Once the repair is complete, we run the camera through again to confirm the work meets our standards and yours.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if trenchless repair is an option for my pipe?
Most pipes are good candidates for trenchless repair, but it depends on the extent and location of the damage. We always start with a camera inspection before recommending any approach. We’ll tell you honestly if a different method makes more sense.
How long does a trenchless repair last?
Pipe lining and pipe bursting are both long-term solutions. CIPP liners are rated to last 50 years or more. Pipe bursting installs new HDPE pipe, which carries a similar lifespan.
Is trenchless repair more expensive than traditional excavation?
Not necessarily. When you factor in the cost of restoring a yard, driveway, or landscaping after traditional digging, trenchless methods are often comparable or less expensive overall. We’ll provide a written estimate so you can compare clearly.
Will my yard be damaged?
Trenchless repair requires only one or two small access points rather than a full trench. Most lawns and driveways are left virtually untouched.
How long does the repair take?
Most trenchless repairs are completed in a single day. Complex jobs may take two days. Compare that to traditional excavation, which can take several days to a week or more.
Do you serve my neighborhood?
We serve the full I-5 corridor from Everett to Tacoma, including Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Renton, Burien, Federal Way, and surrounding areas. Call us and we’ll confirm coverage.
Why Trenchless Repair Is the Right Choice for Seattle Homes
Seattle homeowners face a specific set of challenges when it comes to sewer repair. Many properties have mature trees with extensive root systems growing into aging clay or cast iron pipes. Lots tend to be smaller and more densely landscaped, making traditional excavation especially disruptive. And Seattle's wet climate means that open trenches can create drainage and soil stability issues for weeks. Trenchless technology was built for exactly these conditions. It lets us fix the pipe without touching what's above it, which matters when you've invested in a deck, a garden, a driveway, or a mature tree you'd rather not lose. If you've been putting off a sewer repair because you're dreading the disruption, trenchless is worth a conversation.
What We Do
Simple as 1–2–3–4
From your first call to a fully repaired sewer line — here's exactly what to expect working with us.

We run a high-definition camera through the line to see exactly what's going on. You'll get a clear picture of the problem and its location before we talk about any repair.
3. Written Estimate
We explain what we found, walk you through your options, and provide a written estimate. We never recommend work that isn't necessary.
4. Complete Repairs
We work to restore your pipes to full working order quickly, using the industry's best materials. We back our projects with a 20 year warranty.
